USDA Certified Organic
Regenerative farm fresh vegetables grown without synthetic chemicals or pesticides.
Currently, at Organic Essence Farm, we are growing and supplying local stores and restaurants with a modest number of fruits and vegetables. Tomatoes, hot peppers, bell peppers, rhubarb, melons and pumpkins are just a few of our offerings. We are a Regenerative Farm with Certified Organic status. This means we focus on minimal soil disturbance, crop diversity, soil fertility including pasture diversity with livestock. All crops are grown without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides.
For Organic Essence Skincare, we purchase only certified organic ingredients (see list below). While this supports organic growers both locally and internationally, it also ensures that these products are produced and grown without any synthetic fertilizers or chemicals. According to current studies, US women use about 12 products a day containing 168 different chemicals. Men use slightly less with about 85 chemicals. You might assume that all of these ingredients have been tested to ensure that they are safe for long-term use. That’s not the case! As the saying goes, “Your best defense is a good offense”. A fast way to identify a healthy product is to look for the USDA logo. Another method is the phone app YUKA, which deciphers product labels and analyzes the health impact of food products and cosmetics. The beauty of YUKA unlike EWG (Environmental Working Group), is that no brand or manufacturer can influence the scores or recommendations offered.
